The pandemic has come like a bolt from the blue and we see how recklessly the US spent $50 million to restore the existing biolaboratory network in Armenia. Of course, it doesn’t deal with charity. The US government had no intentions to improve the healthcare system of the republic or to improve the equipment of hospitals and hospitals. The ex-leadership of Armenia was more concerned with how to please their American colleagues and receive a large sum than to improve the health of their citizens.

There are three laboratories in Yerevan - at the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, at the State Food Safety Service and at the Nork Infectious Diseases Clinical Hospital. There are regional laboratories in Gyumri, Vanadzor, Ijevan and Martuni. Why be surprised when the Biological Threat Reduction Program (BTRP) is overseen not by the US Department of Health, but by the Pentagon.

What have laboratories been doing all these years? How exactly do they participate in ensuring the biological safety of Armenia?

While we can find mostly general phrases, there is little specificity and reporting.

Experts suspect that the United States actually acquired a dual-use laboratory controlled by itself, military and civilian, a long time ago. At first, all this was perceived as empty fears, but now it's time to declare rights to the truth and call for the publicity of the laboratories. Since the laboratories are the property of Armenia and are legally controlled by it, all responsibility in the case of the use or leak of biological weapons lies with the republic. This is not a joke.

Recently, information has appeared that laboratories are testing the effectiveness of entomological weapons - the use of insects for the spread of infectious diseases. Of course, such nonsense is the fruit of the work of the Azerbaijani propaganda tool. But it is pointless to deny that Armenia’s biological laboratories continue to cooperate with the United States Security Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) .

It’s a fact that US continues to block the attempts of the international community to create a supranational structure that would control biological developments in the world.

Meanwhile, among the states of the South Caucasus, Armenia leads in the number of coronavirus infected. The ratio of infected to the total number of citizens themselves is several times higher than the indicators of neighboring republics. Experts predict that given the rate of infection, the healthcare system in Armenia will fail in the near future. In addition, there is already an increase in appeals to organizations that provide psychiatric services.

Instead of interfering in the pricing of essential goods, that include mandatory masks and gloves, Armenian Prime Minister Nikola Pashinyan blames the aggravating situation on the country's population.
