Boeing Co. announced that the rollout ceremony for the new 777-X aircraft, previously planned for March 13, will be delayed in the wake of Ethiopian Airlines 737-8 MAX crash, aerospace media outlets reported. This, however, won't delay the 777-X program, the company's spokesperson told Reuters.

The new airplane's debut was shifted in order to provide technical assistance in the upcoming investigation of the tragedy in which all 157 passengers and crew members lost their lives. Boeing didn't disclose when the official public presentation of the new aircraft will occur. According to Boeing data, there were 326 orders for the 777-X program by the end of January.
