Juventus superstar Ronaldo sold his sprawling mansion - hidden by woodland and mountains in Portugal's only national park - to international team-mate Pepe. And it is thought ex-Manchester United winger Ronaldo took a £1.25m hit on the hillside home in Geres - which includes a heliport - after having it built for £3.5m seven years ago. Poor Ron has given up the equivalent of about five days' pay to help the sale breeze through. Spanish newspaper Correio da Manhã say the property - with spectacular views of the Canicaada reservoir - has long been Ronaldo's preferred get-away. |
