The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued a Level 4 Travel Health Notice for Armenia due to COVID-19, indicating a very high level of COVID-19 in the country. There are restrictions in place affecting U.S. citizen entry into Armenia.
Do not travel to: The Nagorno-Karabakh region and surrounding territories due to recent hostilities.
Casualties continue to occur following intensive fighting in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict that occurred in the fall 2020. The U.S. government is unable to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens in and around Nagorno-Karabakh as access is restricted.
