The Federal Antimonopoly Service imposed a fine of 2 billion rubles on Google for non-transparent and biased rules for blocking accounts and distributing content on YouTube. This was reported on the website of the regulator.

“AS A RESULT OF AN ADMINISTRATIVE INVESTIGATION, THE FAS RUSSIA IMPOSED A TURNOVER FINE ON GOOGLE LLC IN THE AMOUNT OF MORE THAN 2 BILLION RUBLES ($34,886,073.22) FOR VIOLATING ANTITRUST LAWS,” — SPECIFIED IN THE MESSAGE FAS.

It should be noted that the company must pay it within two months from the date the fine document comes into force.
