India moon landing ‘historic day’: PM Modi
As India became the first nation to land a craft near the moon’s south pole, Modi called it a “historic day”.

Lander continues ‘rough breaking phase’
The Lander is now travelling at an altitude of 22km (14 miles) and has covered a distance of more than 500km in its “rough breaking phase”.

No ground intervention is now being carried out and all information is being received by the deep space network.
