''Haykakan Zhamanak'': The investigation into the case of Margar Ohanyan, Armenia’s former Road Police Chief who is currently in confinement, is nearing its end, and it will soon be sent to the court, legal defender Mkrtich Vasakyan told Haykakan Zhamanak daily, on Tuesday, the daily writes.
''Margar Ohanyan is charged with abuse of official position and large-scale embezzlement of property, and he is under custody for around three months, since August 30. If found guilty, Margar Ohanyan could face up to 12 years in prison.
Defender Vasakyan said Ohanyan says he is not guilty, and he did not give any testimony,'' Haykakan Zhamanak writes.
