The Brazilian striker Neymar is getting closer to renew his contract with FC Barcelona until 2020. The Catalan magazine Sport said that after the renewal, Neymar will get 12 million euros per year which makes his salary equal to Luis Suarez and second ranked after Lionel Messi’s salary.
Neymar will also keep the same advantage that he had in his previous contract which make him guarantee a big addition in his annual wage that could reach 20 million euros.
The renewal represents a clear message that FC Barcelona are satisfied with the player’s current performance with the team. He clearly shined and improved himself in the current season which was clearly seen in the last game in the Spanish Cup against Atletico Madrid.
