In Japan at the age of 117 years died, the oldest inhabitant of the Earth, Misao Okawa (Misao Okawa). She died Wednesday, April 1, in a nursing home in Osaka, where he lived the last few years. It is reported TASS with reference to the representatives of the institution.

In March of this year Okawa decided to celebrate her birthday in advance: festive events were held March 4 at the nursing home. Agency staff then noted that Japanese women have problems with hearing and she became a little slower to move.

Misao Okawa was born March 5, 1898 in Osaka. In 1919 she married, in a marriage she had three children. In 1931, the Okawa widowed. Now she has, besides two daughters and a son, four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. In 2013, a woman was recognized by the Guinness Book of records, the oldest living inhabitant of the Earth.
