In Thailand, lightning struck a group of school children

As a result of a lightning strike in Thailand, one child was killed and another 29 were injured. Primary school students in Tak province (west of Thailand) were exposed to heavy rain, from which they hurried to hide under a tree in the school grounds. Lightning struck directly into the tree shortly after the shower began. All the victims were hospitalized in the nearest hospital. |
