Gerard Pique has revealed he will retire from international football after the 2018 World Cup. The 29-year-old has won 85 caps for his country since making his debut against England in 2009. The World Cup in Russia will be Pique’s fifth and final major tournament and admitted his decision was not taken in the heat of the moment.
