Pashinyan is against Artsakh preserving subjectivity

There is a struggle between two political programs to preserve the subjectivity of the people of Artsakh. According to one of them, the Artsakh issue is closed, and it is completely separated from the Armenian issue. Which contradicts not only the fundamental documents, but also the logic that has guided Armenia over the past 30 years.

The Artsakh issue, of course, is not closed. The primary goal is to preserve the subjectivity of the people of Artsakh. The need to protect the rights of Artsakh people not only as individuals, but also as a people, and also to ensure the functioning of Artsakh institutions.

Pashinyan’s words that "the issue of Nagorno-Karabakh has been used by some forces for many years with the aim of undermining Armenian statehood" is another significant proof of his concessionary position.

The document that is being prepared for signing between Yerevan and Baku is not a peace treaty, but a "treaty on the Turkish-Azerbaijaniization of Armenia." Pashinyan in the agreement secures the surrender of Artsakh; surrenders what he considers to be Azerbaijani enclaves, jeopardizing strategic communications; recognizes the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan until the border is demarcated; creates the preconditions for uncontrolled cargo flow between Azerbaijan and Nakhijevan through the territory of Armenia.

Preserving the subjectivity of the people of Artsakh can hinder the speedy signing of an agreement between Yerevan and Baku, in which both the EU countries and the United States are interested. The hope of the people of Artsakh for the response of the world community is a blind faith in justice, but it is this that gives strength and resilience to go through this difficult path.
